Peter Oswald - Fastmarkets RISI European CEO of the Year 2022

We are pleased to announce that Peter Oswald, CEO of the MM Group (Mayr-Melnhof Karton AG), has been named the European paper industry’s CEO of the Year 2022 by industry data provider Fastmarkets RISI. Under his leadership, MM has recently significantly strengthened its product offering in virgin fiber-based cartonboard through transformative acquisitions, while taking an attractive position in kraft papers and uncoated fine papers.

Peter Oswald has been CEO of the MM Group since 2020. Already in 2013, he was awarded this renowned industry prize for the first time. The MM Group focuses on sustainable and innovative fiber-based packaging solutions.
